thedanizblog: Transcendence? First of all I want it known that I am 100% FOR people taking psychiatric medications if they are beneficial in overcoming mental health issues. I made this picture because I feel that people often expect too much from psychiatric medications. (I know I used to.) Yes, they can be a vital element to recovery from mental health issues but they can’t make us truly content and free. I believe it requires willingness to examine ourselves, become aware of our issues, create a plan to overcome them and then be dedicated to following through. This process can not be found in the form of a pill or any other substance for that matter.

If you believe in the metaphysical dualism of existence and consciousness how can you believe in God? For if God was existence and consciousness it wouldn’t be dualist, it would be monist.
